Why Perfino

With up to 10% of people now allergic to perfume and with a growing concern about what we put on our bodies and into the atmosphere, people are looking for alternative ways to smell great.

Perfino works with natural essential oils, one drop of which is enough to deliver a fabulous scent for your enjoyment and wellbeing ... all day long.

A small lava stone inside a beautiful piece of jewellery takes up the oil and gently releases the fragrance without pushing any solvents (greenhouse gases) into the air. So your skin remains exactly as nature intended.

How it started

Perfino evolved from a deep respect for the planet, a passion for natural scents, and a trip to the fragrance markets of Cochin. We all want to smell great, but in a way that does right by the planet, helps sustain local artisans and farmers, and is clean and safe for us to use.

So our skilled artisan jewellery designers came up with a design for a natural scent pendant made from 100% solid recycled silver and 18ct gold vermeil.

Inside the pendant sits a lava stone which comes from….lava! These stones are straight from mother earth and are designed, by her, to last forever!

Our blends

We have expertly, and exquisitely, blended pure essential oils to drop onto the stone so you can enjoy the scent all day long – creating your own personal wellbeing bubble. All our oils are ethically and sustainably sourced from farms, fields and forests, by farmers that we know and want to support.

We believe that "less is more", that subtlety rules, that scent is for the benefit of the wearer not the room.

...but most importantly we want you to be safe, healthy, and full of the joy of scent.

Our commitment to sustainability

  • Our essential oils are sustaibaly grown and sourced from farms around the world which are well known to, and regularly visited by, our UK based supplier, a B Corporation.
  • Suppliers are fully compliant with CITES, and all regulory requirements.
  • We use only recycled precious metals
  • Our lava stones are a natural product, milled and dyed with natural dyes.
  • Our packaging is compostable as are our discovery scent cards, which come in a corn starch derived envelope.
